For the Illustration Friday topic “Skull”. I rather like the idea of death being glamorous and wearing fashionable things. All she wants is to be able to show off her epic wardrobe, if only there wasn’t the little problem that the only people who can see her are the dying and dead who invariably don’t care about her fashion sense.
The character is pulled from a previous painting I did Here

I am actually working on it again, and not making the mistake of drawing ahead of having the story worked out this time. Because I was too eager last time! (silly me!) So look out for it sometime… soon… ish…

I tend not to notice how tall people are but thinking about it he was on eye height with me which makes him rather tall.. XD
Got my copies of Scott Pilgrim v3 and Seconds signed by the fab Bryan Lee O’Malley today at Travelling Man Leeds. Bryan liked my yellow nail varnish so I had to include it in the photo of course. Tis always nice to meet creators and remind myself they’re human not just an art macine. (That and Scott Pilgrim is ace and while I’m only 1/3 of the way into Seconds it’s pretty awesome too)
A Set of pencil portraits for my cousin of her wonderful family.
These were done a while ago and I forgot to share them. it’s been such a long time since I worked in pencils for anything more than a sketch.
If you are interested in portraits of your own, do feel free to get in contact. :)
